SoulVersations
Adult/Teen, Parent/Teen Engagement. The purpose of Soulversations is to address barriers that hinder communication between teens and adults through meaningful conversations and innovative engaging activities. The program includes family, youth, and adult components designed to encourage understanding and to answers questions between teens and adults.
Soulversations incorporates goal-planning skills as a tool for positive initiation and decision-making. During the session(s) adults/parents and teens are separated into different groups to participate in a guided dialogue and to practice positive communication, decision-making, and goal setting skills. The last portion of each session involves adults and teens coming together to share in a facilitated culminating conversation or activity.
